App Review Guideline
4.8 Login Services
The app offers a third-party or social login but no equivalent privacy-focused option such as Sign in with Apple.
Why it happens
- Google or Facebook sign-in is offered without another option that limits data collection to name and email and lets users hide their email.
How to fix it
- Add Sign in with Apple (or another login that meets the same privacy requirements) next to the existing social logins.
- Not needed if the app only uses your own account system, or is an education/enterprise app using an existing institutional login.
What to reply in Resolution Center
After the fix is in the build you submit:
Hello App Review team, Thank you for the review of [app name] [version]. We added Sign in with Apple as an equivalent login option alongside [Google / Facebook]. We have submitted build [build number] with these changes. Please let us know if anything else needs attention. Best regards
