App Review Guideline
4.0 Design
The interface does not meet Apple's design expectations: broken layouts, unusable screens or an experience that feels unfinished.
Why it happens
- Layouts that break on iPad or on a small iPhone.
- Text cut off or overlapping at larger Dynamic Type sizes.
- Sign-in flows that force unnecessary data entry.
How to fix it
- Test every screen on iPad and the smallest supported iPhone.
- Fix clipped or overlapping elements; respect safe areas.
- Simplify the flow Apple named.
